Westerwold is a short term (1 season) cutting mixture. This is a single variety of westerwold which will give amazing growth for rapid recuts. Westerwold can be susceptible to cold winters and will graze very poorly. Varieties will vary though there is very little difference between the way they all perform. Supplied in 25kg bags which will sow 2 acres. Though increasing the sowing rate to 15kg per acre will increase crop yields.
