DOT Road verges is the mix specified by the department of transport for use on road verges in England and wales.
This mixture is ideally suited to road verges where the soil may not be of the best quality. Also where quick establishment, short growth, good stability on banks and some tolerance of salt and exhaust fumes is required.

20% Strong Creeing Red Fescue
30% Hard Fescue
10% Smooth Stalked Meadow Grass
10% Browntop Bent
