LOW MAINTANANCE / POOR SOILS / EMBANKMENTS This is a reduced maintanance mixture that is naturally low growing and attractive. Using fine grases that are very tolerant of dry, infertile conditions reduces the need for the application of water or fertiliser. The addition of crested dogstail to the mix ensures quick germination and green up of the sward. The rhyzominous growth of creeping red fescues helps stabilise soil on embankments
